From *that* lip gloss phone case to the viral glazing milk, Hailey Beiber’s Rhode skin has made waves in Australia. But here’s the catch – you can’t even purchase it here! Despite its hard-to-obtain status, Aussies are still very much obsessed with this cult-favourite brand. Here, we break down all the ways you can get your hands on the products, our top picks and more affordable (and easily accessible) dupes.
Can you buy Rhode in Australia?
While the official Rhode US website does not ship directly to Australia, there are some ways you can get your hands on your favourite products. Currently, Rhode only ships to the USA, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland and Spain.
Purchase from online retailers
There are some online retailers like Amazon and Self Care Beauty that stock a small number of Rhode products. Women’s Health have never actually purchased from these sites so do your research before checking out as they are not affiliated with Rhode nor are they official stockists.
Use a parcel forwarding company
The most common way people have been able to purchase their Rhode products is through a freight forwarding company (such as MyUS). Basically through one of these services, the company gives you a US address to ship your Rhode cart to. Once it arrives, it is then processed and forwarded on to you in Australia. Keep in mind these companies will of course charge you for this service and it can take a few weeks.
Ask your American friends and family
If you have family or friends that live in one of the countries that Rhode officially ships to, you may be in luck. You can always (very politely!) ask to have your shopping cart shipped to their local address and have them send it to you in Aus. Even better if they’re planning a trip to Australia so they can physically hand it over to you.
Is Rhode only available online?
Yes. Currently Rhode doesn’t have any physical stores – even in America, so any products must be purchased online.
When is Rhode coming to Australia?
Unfortunately, as far as we know, there are no immediate plans to officially bring Rhode to Australia. You can always sign up to the Rhode skin mailing list so you’re the first to know of any changes, and keep your eyes peeled on social media. Of course, we’ll be here to let you know, too.
Who owns Rhode?
Rhode is owned and was created by Hailey Beiber (formally Baldwin), an American socialite, model and celebrity. She is the face of the brand, Creative Director and founder.
Hailey is also the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin and is married to Canadian singer Justin Beiber. The name “Rhode” is actually Hailey’s middle name.
When did Rhode skin come out?
Rhode launched in June of 2022.
How much does Rhode skincare?
The prices of Rhode products range from $18USD for the Peptide Lip Tint, $30USD for the Pineapple Refresh cleanser, $117USD for the complete Rhode Kit which includes four products and a bag. Keep this in mind this is all in US dollars so you’ll have to factor in the exchange rate and shipping costs when considering a purchase.
What are the best Rhode products?
Rhode predominately sells products for the skin, lips and cheeks. It also stocks some accessories like a compact mirror, a phone case that perfectly fits a Rhode lip treatment or tint, and kits including one that comes with a bubble bag. Some of the most popular products include:
Rhode Barrier Restore Cream
This creamy moisturiser soothes and restores the skin barrier for the perfect daily product. Use it morning or night (or both) after cleansing for a hydrated, smooth soft and plump complexion.
Rhode Peptide Lip Tint
Available in four colours (ribbon, raspberry jelly, toast and espresso), this sheer gloss is said to hydrate and plump. The super nourishing formula is loaded with shea butter, peptide, cupuaçu (a fruit) and babassu (a plant) to work hard to deliver juicy looking lips.
Rhode Glazing Milk
If you suffer from red, dry and dull skin, the Glazing Milk is for you. This liquid essence is applied to the skin after cleansing to achieve a really gorgeous finish to leave you looking and feeling dewy, radiant and hydrated. It even has a 4.7 star rating from over 3,000 reviews.
Rhode Pocket Blush
We love the design of the Pocket Blush. This cream product is cleverly designed for you to easily apply it to your cheeks with your fingers. It’s teeny tiny, great for throwing it in your bag for midday touch-ups. Choose from six different shades.
