Recently named the world’s best golf event for the second year running, LIV Golf Adelaide will see the return of 54 world-class players across 13 teams competing. Even if you haven’t played before, you’ll get to watch great competition while enjoying food, drink, music and entertainment. 

Immerse yourself in WOMADelaide 

Dates: 7-10 March

The four-day open-air festival held on the traditional lands of the Kaurna People showcases all things music, arts, dance and food from around the world. You’ll hear from over 700 artists from over 35 countries across eight different stages. 

Experience A Taste of the Hills Festival 

Dates: 29 and 30 March

Taste the region’s best food, wine and spirits (hence the festival name!) from more than 50 producers, together with local art and entertainment. Some of our favourites include Nepenthe Wines, 78 Degree Distillery, Red Cacao, Lenswood Cider Co and Jurlique. 

Cheer on your favourite team at the AFL Gather Round

Dates: 10-13 April

For one weekend, AFL fans from around the country will descend on South Australia for Gather Round. All 18 teams will take part in nine matches, including a Barossa game for the first time. 

Drink your way through the Barossa Vintage Festival

Dates: 23-27 April

Ever wanted to stomp on wine-making grapes? Experience the fun and so much more at The Barossa Vintage Festival. This celebration of what the region does best includes a wine auction, local markets, cooking classes and more. 

Savour Tasting Australia presented by Journey Beyond

Dates: 2-11 May

Tasting Australia is among the longest-running events of its kind in Australia and features diverse experiences over 10 delicious days and nights. The next edition includes two special meals in celebration of Mother’s Day: a relaxed family brunch and a lavish degustation.

Watch as the The British & Irish Lions take on AUNZ Invitational XV

Date: 12 July

Be there as the AUNZ Invitational XV take on the British and Irish Lions for the first time since 1989, exclusively at Adelaide Oval. The match is part of a series of games between Australia and the The British and Irish Lions for the first time in 12 years.

South Australia’s largest winter wine offering is here! Charge your glass in celebration of the region’s renowned cool-climate red wines, with highlights to include live music and DJs, cosy tasting flights from 35 different Adelaide Hills producers.
