A refreshing pomegranate mocktail recipe for summer

Refreshing pomegranate fizz

A healthier twist on the mojito, and make it booze-free

‘Tis the season to imbibe, and likely you’re seeing around you, or have enjoyed yourself, some beverages over the festive season. But if you’re keen to take a break, ditch the hangovers and instead enjoy some mocktails over the break, here’s the perfect pomegranate fizz recipe.

Zesty, full of vibrant flavour and ideal for hot summer days and nights, you’ve just met your next favourite tipple.

Total Time:5 mins

Ingredients

  • 60 mls pomegranate juice
  • Half a lime cut in wedges
  • 6-8 mint leaves
  • 250 mls diet ginger ale

Directions

Step 1
Place lime wedges and pomegranate juice in a tall glass. Muddle until all the juice has been pressed out of the lime. If you don’t have a muddler, use the back end of a wooden spoon or similar.
Step 2
Clap mint leaves together in your hands a few times to release the scent and add to the glass. Give the mint a gentle press a couple of times with the muddler.
Step 3
Add plenty of ice to the glass and top with ginger ale. Stir well.
Step 4
Garnish with pomegranate seeds, mint and lime.
