Amerolis, from French “soul” (“âme”) and Greek “fashion” (“rolis”), reflects the brand’s ethos of combining spirit with style.

“Our line features Second Skin technology, designed to move with your body and provide maximum comfort and flexibility,” says Ishan Jaffery, co-founder of the brand. The fabric also has health benefits, promoting blood flow and reducing muscle fatigue.

After years of research and development, Melissa struggled to find a brand that met her high standards. This struggle ultimately inspired her to create Amerolis.

As a beauty queen in both Florida and California, Melissa takes pride in designing a collection with Ishan that enhances the quality of everyday life.

“From leggings and bras to shorts, tennis skirts, and beyond, we’ve engineered designs that provide an exquisite sensation—it’s like wearing buttermilk,” Melissa explains. This second-skin fabric has already garnered attention from fitness enthusiasts who prioritize both elegance and performance.

Niche wellness market cities, such as Sydney or Miami, are places Amerolis is keen to explore in 2025. The goal for the brand next year is to create an international engaged community on all continents around fitness and wellbeing with in-person events.

Luxury athleisure has seen significant growth in America since the pandemic. According to Statista, the market size is projected to grow by 48%, from $303 billion in 2021 to $451 billion by 2028.

Since its launch, Amerolis has focused on creating versatile, breathable pieces that transition effortlessly from workouts to chic evening events.

“We believe that every woman deserves to feel like a goddess—whether at the gym or a glamorous event,” Melissa shares passionately.

Amerolis’ new collection is perfectly adapted for the Australian weather, both for the Golden Coast to the busy city life. The colors are also inspired from the ever-changing landscape nature: from the coastal sparkling hues to silvery greens of the forests, rich red soils of the desert and granite grays of the mountain ranges.

Supporting a Cause Close to Heart

Breast Cancer Awareness, or Pink Month, is a cause close to Amerolis’s heart. Their recent pop-up event highlighted their commitment to health and community.

“This event allowed us to bring the community together for a cause that truly matters,” Ishan adds. “We wanted to play our part in raising awareness and supporting breast cancer research by donating a portion of the proceeds.”

A Growing Collection

 

With monthly product drops and a growing community, Amerolis has launched its first menswear capsule, with premium holiday loungewear coming soon. “Our menswear mirrors the sophistication and comfort of our women’s line,” says Synda Boufaid, PR and Brand strategist for Amerolis, ensuring each launch captures the brand’s essence.
