If you’re wondering who you may smooch under the mistletoe this season… options are aplenty, as the planets move around for what looks to be an action-packed end of 2022.
We begin December with Venus, the planet that rules our love life and desires, and Mars, the planet that rules over conflict and action in direct opposition, says Donna Page, an Atlanta-based professional astrologer with a graduate degree in counseling psychology. This can translate to some serious tiffs if you let it.
“This energy can definitely create arguments, especially quite petty ones,” says Page. “But it’s more about what someone believes is the truth. You know how that goes… but remember, in the long run, does this really matter? Is the bickering worth it?”
So maybe hit backspace before you send that paragraph-long text message to your S.O., and harness the good energy of the month for some introspection, which there’s also plenty of opportunity for, according to Page. Jupiter, the planet of expansion, is in fiery Aries starting on 20th, followed by the winter solstice and Capricorn season on the 21st. And oh yeah, did I mention the new moon is in our favorite worker bee of the zodiac (Cap) on the 23rd as well?

Aries (March 21–April 19)
