In 2011, Turia Pitt was caught in a grassfire while competing in a 100 km ultra-marathon in the Australian outback. She was choppered out of the remote desert barely alive, with full thickness burns to 65 percent of her body.
Turia has since rebuilt her life and defied every expectation. She’s written three best-selling books, competed at the Ironman World Championships, and taught thousands of women how to run and feel confident in their bodies.
