We’re Fangirling Over tbh Skincare’s New Matildas Pimple Patches

Treat those pimples, but make it sporty.

There are two things we are obsessed with at Women’s Health: skincare and women in sport. So when we found out the two were coming together in the form of a new product release, we couldn’t help but get wildly excited.

Yep, fresh off the press, it has been revealed that Aussie beauty brand tbh skincare have launched green and gold pimple patches in collaboration with the Matildas.

The pimple patches, which are already super popular, use a powerhouse blend of breakout-busting ingredients (think ascorbic acid, tea tree oil, niacinamide, and salicylic acid) to not only absorb pus and oil for a flatter, less inflamed spots, but shield your skin from external irritants – including your pesky fingers.

The new Matildas iteration was pitched by tbh co-founder Rachael Wilde to her CFO (which they posted on TikTok, garnering over 100K+ views) and approved by captain Steph Catley – coming in the form of super cute soccer ball patches.

“The majority of people are prone to suffering a breakout every now and again, so what better way to embrace imperfections than by seeing your sporting heroes embrace theirs. It’s giving acne a positive spin, turning it into a wearable fashion statement to be proud of, rather than something to feel embarrassed about,” the brand explains in a press release.

The product officially launches today, Monday May 20th, online – just in time for the team’s next game in Adelaide – with 60 patches per box which includes 4 unique designed green and gold pimple patches as well as the OG clear design. By mid-June will be available in Priceline
